Cancellations/No shows
All grooming appointments scheduled are based on time slots that are available. We understand emergencies may occur, but our services are appointment based. If you do not show or cancel the day of, that is a time slot lost for other potential customers needing the service. All appointment confirmations will be made 24 hours prior via telephone call/text. Failure to cancel appointment 24 hours prior will result to an additional charge of $25 for your next appointment, second strike will result to an additional charge of $50 for next apt, there will NOT be a third strike. Services may be declined for customers who repeatedly do not follow this policy.
NO REFUNDS
This policy means you cannot get your money back for a grooming service after it has been completed, regardless of any issues you may have with the groom. Please make sure to address your concerns before leaving so that your pet groomer can make any adjustments to the groom. After leaving will cost pet parents additional fees.
Denying Services
Our priority of our staff members health and safety is paramount as it is for your fur baby’s health and safety. Spaw and Stay have the rights to deny services to your pets due to aggression, age, severe matting, medical condition, etc. that can cause harm to your pet and/or our pet groomers.
Assistant Fee
An Assistant Fee will be charged for all pet grooming appointments IF NEEDED. If that appointment determines that your cat or dog would benefit from having an assistant at subsequent appointment due to fear, aggression, age, medical condition or any other reason the assistant fee will be charged of an additional fee anywhere between $15+.
Fleas/Ticks
Our salon is a flea free. If our pet groomer discovers fleas on your pet, we will immediately wash your pet with our flea/tick shampoo and charge you an additional $25. If your pet is infested with fleas, we can deny the service.
Late Fee Charge
If you are going to be late for your pets appointment, please contact the store by phone or text. “A few minutes late” means less than 15 min. Appointment times are set up so that we have uninterrupted time with your pet. The late fee charge will be an additional fee of $15.
The same policy applies to the other end of the appointment at pick up. Although we try to make it an enjoyable experience most pups want to go home ASAP and we would like to keep their stress level as low as possible. Unless previously discussed with your groomer any added hours after your pups groom may produce an additional fee of $15.
Vaccines
Dogs must be current with the following vaccinations:
Rabies
Canine Distemper/Parvovirus/Parainfluenza
Bordatella
We cannot accept any dogs with expired vaccinations for any services.
Payments
Forms of payments accepted include cash and zelle.
We do accept credit/debit cards, amex etc. but an additional 2.5 CC FEE will be included on payment along with the NJ STATE TAX .
Cash Gratuities never expected but very much appreciated.
Family Based Atmosphere (Zero Tolerance Policy)
Our shop will treat all of our employees and customers as extended family members with the upmost respect. With that said we will not tolerate any disrespect and yelling towards our staff as we also require the same level of respect to our customers and their fur babies. We have the right as a private owned business to decline all types of services if the customer does not follow this policy.
